The work experience was profoundly formative for me, it gave me good insight on how it would be to actually teach English in schools (in this case to very young children) and I could develop some personal skills.

Working regularly every day made us more responsible and served as a great preparation for professional working life. Working with children changed and improved my attitude toward my profession. Through this experience, I effectively learned what to do and what not to do while teaching.
I learned a lot about children’s behaviour, classroom management, office responsibilities, and daily life abroad. Especially visiting different kindergartens allowed us to teach many children and develop a positive and flexible teaching approach towards them. This variety greatly contributed to my professional development.
I learned how to manage classroom control in practice. Managing this with children whose native language is different requires extra care, and I experienced firsthand that it is indeed possible. Everything was very systematic. There were already clear answers to questions such as where things were, when tasks were done, and how everything worked. Whenever I had additional questions, the institution always responded quickly and supported me.
