SmartStar Home provide English language learning at home or on the go, using smart devices (computer, telephone, tablet) with an Internet connection.
Each e-lesson is based on a specific topic, with the help of which the child is encouraged to learn English by learning about different aspects of English, encouraged to listen and answer, read and write, as well as participate in various activities and games.
The programme is intended for children at kindergarten age (with the help of parents) and primary school age (without help).
The study program lasts 3 study years, every year consists of 6 new modules. The topics of the lessons are based on fairy tales, thus creating an environment in which children see a certain type of communication.
Each module focuses on one of the more than 97 topics.
For example, introducing yourself, clothes, food, home, etc., as well as asking and answering questions, such as what is your favorite food, what do you wear, what is the weather like, how are you, etc.
All e-activities (videos, printed materials, e-materials) can be used repeatedly.

The English language program for kindergarten children has been developed taking into account the peculiarities of children's age, as well as based on research in neuroscience on effective foreign language learning at an early age. The English language program uses the ABC (Activating Brain Centers) Language Acquisition method, which is based on the fuller involvement of cerebral hemispheres in foreign language learning, ensuring faster and more extensive vocabulary memorization .
The presentation describing the method in English is available here:
Bērnam ļoti svarīgas ir atslēgas vārdu lapiņas pēc katras video nodarbības - tās arī aktīvi izmantojam, lai atsauktu atmiņā senāk iemācītos vārdiņus (prieks redzēt, ka bērns visu atceras).
